My topic is obesity in children.

The database is Annual Reviews Online. I searched ’ obesity and children’. I found a good article: PEDIATRIC OBESITY AND INSULIN RESISTANCE: Chronic Disease Risk and Implications for Treatment and Prevention Beyond Body Weight Modification. Annual reviews did not provide any citations.

The journal provides various subject areas. I searched in biology, nutrition in specific. I could easily find articles related to my topic because of the vast amount of articles this database contains.

My research question is: How to prevent obesity in children?

Academic disciplines that relate to my topic: Biology, culture studies: childhood studies, sociology, psychology.

AUC majors and minors that relate to my topic: Majors: Biology, Psychology. Minors: Sociology.

The two databases are: Annual reviews online, and ScienceDirect. Both databases include information related to medicine which is related to my topic. The Annual reviews online specifically mentions nutrition which will be perfect for my search.
